Rates & Insurance

We believe in economic justice and accessibility and for these reasons, we have been intentional about contracting with several Medicaid and Medicare plans.

In 2025, over 35% our our services were to Medicaid/Medicare recipients!

Overview

Our rates are competitive with other providers providing similar services in the Metro-Detroit region. Please keep in mind that by contracting with insurance plans, our rates are repriced by the insurance plans. We have a limited number of sliding scale spots available for private pay clients who for whatever reason are choosing not to use health insurance or lack insurance. Please be aware of your deductible and mental health insurance coverage prior to booking an appointment. Appointments cancelled with less than 24-hour notice are subject to the full session fee.

Questions About Insurance & Payment

What type of insurances do you accept?

We have private pay options and sliding scale options based on income that range from 50-100% of standard office fee. PP Sliding Scale Updated 6.1.26.docx

Please contact your insurance and ask about expected expenses associated with a 90791 (intake assessment) and 90837 (therapy session) that are most commonly billed for therapy. They vary widely from plan to plan and we have no idea of knowing deductible amount or responsibility until after we receive the insurance claim back from the insurer.

If we are in-network with both insurances, we can bill the primary insurance first and then once we receive the claim back, bill the second insurer. It can take 30+ days for this process to occur. If one of your insurances is Medicaid, we cannot balance bill you for any remaining balance your primary insurer does not pay.

Absolutely, several of our clients utilize HSA and FSA accounts and store their card associated with these accounts as their default payment method on our portal.

Everyone is required to have a credit card on file to cover costs associated with copays and missed appointments. Once we understand what your copay or financial obligations are from the health insurance company, we will put you on autopay to cover these charges and the amount due will be charged within 24 hours of the appointment. Should the charge decline, we will contact you to update your payment source. You will be able to view payment documents or submit a payment 24/7 via our online portal. Appointments cancelled with less than 24-hour notice are subject to the full session fee.
