Experience & Education: With more than seventeen years of experience in the mental health field, I have dedicated my career to supporting individuals and communities across Metro Detroit and beyond. Since 2012, I’ve worked in a range of clinical and community-based settings, building a practice rooted in trauma-informed care, authenticity, and social justice. Before launching my private practice in 2019, I served as a youth advisor and program manager at Covenant House in both New Jersey and Michigan, provided intensive community-based services as a case manager and therapist with Development Centers in Detroit, and worked as a therapist at Corktown Health, an LGBTQ-focused primary care clinic.

My professional life is complemented by nearly two decades of community engagement. I have volunteered as a sexual assault response advocate, supported local soup kitchens and warming centers, assisted with Hurricane Katrina recovery efforts, and completed two years of AmeriCorps service—experiences that deeply shaped my commitment to accessible, grassroots care. Outside the therapy room, I also find joy and balance as a certified spin instructor, now in my eighth year of teaching.

I have presented locally and nationally on LGBTQ mental health and trauma-related topics, and I continue to pursue ongoing professional development. I am a graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program (Cohort 32), a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC), and hold an MSW from Wayne State University. I also completed graduate-level coursework and a mental health internship at Rutgers University and earned my BA in Psychology and Women’s and Gender Studies from Ohio Wesleyan University.
