Experience & Education

I am curious, creative, and sincere in my approach to therapy and goal setting. I do not just sit back and nod my head at you. I have a passion for helping people find the way back to themselves, after self-abandonment and sometimes a lifetime of people-pleasing behaviors. I’m an engaged, thoughtful helper in your growth, here to ask meaningful questions, challenge unhelpful patterns, and help you reconnect with who you truly are. My background and training originate in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), but I use a combination of modalities that best suit you. LGBTQ+ aligned and kink-positive.

I believe in supporting and empowering clients by helping them gain insight, attain knowledge, set goals, identify obstacles, provide clarity, and hopefully, achieve healing growth. I am social justice-minded at heart. As a divorced single parent, I also bring lived experience with resilience, reinvention, and rebuilding and I understand how complex healing can be.

This is your unique journey and I am here to help through thoughtful collaboration. As David Kessler wisely said, “pain is inevitable; suffering is optional.”

Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, crossword puzzles, tending to my pollinator garden, and embracing hygge (the practice of creating cozy atmospheres, contentment, comfort, and simple pleasures in life).
